Hello Friends,

Well, it’s happened. Last week, my littlest baby turned 2 years old! I wanted to document this milestone and have a record of what makes her so special at this age and why I am so lucky to be her mommy.

My sweet Zoe Belle, you have always been you’re own unique little person and this has definitely not changed at 2 years old. With your bright blue eyes, your wild curly hair and your funny personality you make my heart burst open regularly.

You are extremely strong-willed and intense and know exactly what you like and what you don’t like. You came out screaming and have never been afraid to let us know what you want (and don’t want.) But at the same time, you are the sweetest little thing and everyone always tells me how much they love how cuddly and affectionate you are. Of course, cuddles with mommy are always number 1.

I can’t say no when you ask to “cuddle with mommy.” And when you squeeze your arms around me so tight and tell me “love you so much,” I melt into a big puddle of love.

You have a great love for all animals but you most especially love horses and cats. Your favourite thing to do is visit the “neigh neighs” at the community horse stables, and if we’re lucky enough, we get to hang out with the barn cats too!

You are so funny and make us laugh non-stop with your silly faces and crazy dance moves.

You are definitely a daredevil, so I am learning the balance between letting you learn and experience new things and also not letting you throw yourself off the top step.

You are absolutely in love with your big sister and love to copy every little thing she says and does, which isn’t always the best thing. But it is certainly entertaining and endearing to watch.

You are such a sensitive and compassionate little being and I have received several comments about you being an old soul. I do believe that to be true with your big, bright eyes that seem to just know. You have a way about you and seem so much wiser than someone who has only been on this earth for 2 short years.

You have taught me so much about myself as a mother and the person I want to be and I will forever by grateful and proud to walk and grow with you in this journey of life. Thank you for being such a light in our little family.

Mommy loves you so much, Sweet Girl.
